Medical Providers Adopt iTriage App to Deliver Instant Health Information

Smartphones have revolutionized access to instant information. When it comes to health care, consumers are increasingly using mobile and online sources to conduct their own medical research, according to a Pew Research Report. Studies show that more than half of U.S. adults want mobile access to more comprehensive information about medical providers, as well as the ability to schedule appointments directly from their phones.

The following medical providers recently launched on the iTriage® mobile and Web platform, providing a valuable resource to the patients in their communities searching for medical information and local providers:

Doctors Express – Jacksonville, FL – Northeast Florida residents can use iTriage to request an appointment directly from their smartphone and receive an immediate response, allowing them to wait comfortably at home, instead of in the waiting room, for their scheduled time.

Premier Family Physicians – Austin, TX – The South Austin clinic is using the mobile technology of iTriage to offer both mobile and online appointment setting services to the community.  “Providing tools like mobile appointment setting and our online patient portal help our patients better manage – and make more informed decisions about – their personal health,” said Rich Steinle, CEO of Premier Family Physicians.

Casa Grande Regional Medical Center – Casa Grande, AZ – Through their partnership with iTriage, CGRMC is able to provide more detailed information about its 187-bed community hospital such as services, specialties and educational programs offered. “Today’s consumers are on the go and want convenient access to health care information and medical services,” explained Rona Curphy, President and CEO of CGRMC.

University of Colorado School of Medicine Physicians – Denver, CO – Physicians with the CU School of Medicine are using iTriage to provide increased access to information about their specialties, education and experience, allowing patients to easily find a doctor who meets their specific medical needs.

Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, IL and Valley West Community Hospital, located in nearby Sandwich, IL, are both part of Kish Health System. “We recognize how important it is for the residents in our communities to quickly and conveniently access medical care and information,” said Cindy Graves, KishHealth System Emergency Department director.

Cass Regional Medical Center – Harrisonville MO – Residents and visitors in Cass County and surrounding areas don’t need to commute to Kansas City for medical care. iTriage lets patients instantly access information on CRMC, their seven family practice and two specialty clinics.

Physicians Regional Medical Center – Naples, FL – Both locals and visitors can    quickly access average ER wait times at Physician Regional’s Pine Ridge and Collier Road locations when they have an immediate medical need.
